We are bred to squeeze the shit out of all this world has to offer. “Grow, get a degree, find a career and begin your life,” as your parents would say. It’s a process that we all envisioned in our minds as a piece of delicious cake spoon-fed to us at a young age. But what happens when you realize that your cake doesn’t taste as good as everyone else’s? It’s the type of flavor that has your eyes clinching and cheeks stiff as you strain to swallow it. “Damn, what went wrong?” you ask. As you get older you soon realize that you will never be able to piece together a recipe to that sweet sensation. Instead we must construct our own strategy and determine our own direction of life. It is something sporadically acquired over time in order to prevent the displeasing result. We just have to be patient enough to find the recipe lucrative to producing a substance good enough to digest.
